“Some Thoughts on Worry and Anxiety”

Introduction:

I.  There are 536 documented fears that feed our anxiety.

    A.  Here are some lesser known fears.

  1. Isolophobbia – fear of being alone.

  2. Agoraphobia -fear of being in crowds of people.

  3. Aviophobia – the fear of flying.

  4. Chronophobia – fear of dancing.

  5. Ailurophobia – the fear of cats.

  6. Pentheraphobia – fear of mother-in-laws.

  7. Trypanophobia – fear of needles.

  8. Omphalophobia – fear of belly-buttons.

  9. Peladophobia – fear of men with mustaches.

  10.  Homilophobia – fear of sermons.

  11. Peladohomilaphobia – is fear of guys with mustaches who preach.
