“Come, Let Us Bow Down”

Introduction:

Ps. 95:1-11

“Worship is the highest and noblest activity of which man, by the grace of God, is capable.” – John Stott

Principle Thought: There are three aspects of God’s invitation to worship.

 I.   The first is to rejoice. V. 1-5

      A. Worship is collective, we do it together. V. 1-2

      B. Worship is God-centered.

      C. Worship is founded on the truth that God is sovereign. V. 3-5

 II.  The second is an attitude of reverence. V. 6-7

Lk. 5:4-10

 III. The third is how we respond. V. 7c – 11 (MSG)

       A. We need to stop and hear His voice.

       B. Take Israel, for example.
