“The Attitude of God’s People”

 

Matthew 5:1-12

 

  1.  Jesus’ teaching was a new beginning for mankind.

  2. Jesus’ message in Matthew Chapters 5 thru 7 is the message of The Kingdom of God.

  3. The theme of Jesus’ message is the works of the King are internal not external, they are spiritual and moral, not physical and political.

  4. Jesus lived in an extremely volatile and complex religious society.

  5. Jesus did not fit into any of these categories.

  6. Jesus’ preaching of the Kingdom of God, the Gospel of the Kingdom is the same today as it was 2,000 years ago.
