“Trusting in the Goodness of God”

Introduction:

Ps. 111:1-10 NIV

  1. God displays His works, so we remember Him by trusting His works. V. 2
  2. God gives to us, so we trust Him to provide for our needs. V. 4, 5
  3. God inspires reverence, so we trust His promises are true.
  4. Five awe-inspiring reasons to trust God.
  1. His works contain truth and justice. V. 7
  2. His laws and commands are sure and can be trusted. V. 7-8
  3. He has sent redemption, His Son, to His people. V. 9
  4. He has made a covenant, a promise with His people. V. 9
  5. His name is Holy and awesome. V. 9
  1. God shares with us, so we can trust Him when we are in trouble. V. 10

Conclusion: We need to attach ourselves to the unshakeable Kingdom of God.
